What data we process and why

We process personal data when you are in contact with us, for example when you:

  • contact us by e-mail, phone or via a form on the website
  • sign up for our newsletter or other mailing lists
  • buy tickets or register for an event
  • visit our website

Depending on the situation, this may include your name, e-mail address, phone number, information you provide yourself, purchase and registration history, and technical information about your visit to the website.

We use the data to respond to enquiries, deliver the services and tickets you request, send you information you have asked for, and to operate and improve the website. The processing is based on one or more of the following legal grounds: your consent, performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests, or a legal obligation – for example the retention of accounting records.

Cookies

The website uses cookies to make the site work and for statistics. Non-essential cookies are only set once you have given your consent, and you can change your choices at any time.

Sharing and data processors

We do not sell your personal data. To deliver our services, we use certain suppliers who process data on our behalf, including for website operation, e-mail distribution, ticket sales and statistics. These are bound by data processing agreements. Data may be disclosed to public authorities where we are required to do so by law.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some of our suppliers may process personal data outside the EU/EEA. Where such transfers occur, we ensure a valid transfer mechanism is in place that protects the data in line with data protection law.

Retention period

We store personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as we are required to keep it by law. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right to access your own data, to have data corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to the processing, to data portability, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Contact us at kontakt@gallerif15.no to exercise your rights. You can also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) – see datatilsynet.no.
